Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health conditions and emotional state. Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and are designed to promote their personal growth. Facilitate various forms of therapy, including one-on-one sessions, group activities, and family therapy, ensuring they are evidence-based and culturally competent. Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to align with their evolving needs. Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, equipping clients with coping mechanisms and resilience tools. Maintain strict confidentiality while managing detailed client records as per legal and ethical standards. Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working alongside psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals to coordinate holistic care. Stay informed about the latest mental health research and practices to continually enhance service delivery. Participate in supervision, training, and peer reviews to cultivate a strong professional development environment. Adhere to all ethical guidelines and regulations set forth by relevant licensing bodies. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and families facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Possession of current state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW). Strong clinical assessment capabilities and diagnostic skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a trustful client-therapist relationship. Demonstrated empathy and a deep commitment to client well-being. Capable of working autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team. Understanding of relevant ethical guidelines and legal requirements within mental health practice. A commitment to ongoing education and professional development. Preferred Experience Minimum of three years of direct experience in the mental health field, with a proven track record of success in providing therapy or counseling services. Experience in crisis intervention and working with specific populations—such as those experiencing substance use disorders or severe mental illness—will be viewed favorably.
