Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate and identify the needs of each patient, establishing personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to facilitate effective treatment processes for individuals, couples, and families. Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups addressing key topics such as coping strategies and community resources, offering a network of support to attend to shared challenges. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring that patient care is comprehensive and harmonious across various therapeutic services. Provide crisis intervention services to support patients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring safety and immediate support when needed. Educate patients on mental health wellness, treatment methodologies, and available community resources, promoting empowerment and informed decision-making. Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in full compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity and security of patient records. Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations, contributing your insights for ongoing professional development and shared learning. Stay current with the latest developments in mental health research and therapeutic techniques, integrating new knowledge into your practice for enhanced patient outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals from various age groups and backgrounds facing an array of mental health challenges. Your role is critical in providing tailored interventions that address specific needs, including those struggling with life transitions, relationship issues, or behavioral health complications. Your approach will be integral in creating a safe, supportive atmosphere for patients to explore their thoughts and feelings. Qualifications A *Master's degree* or *Doctorate* in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Active and valid licensure as an *LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW* in the state of Illinois. In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with a variety of evidence-based therapy modalities. Demonstrated competency in performing comprehensive mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment strategies. Experience delivering individual and group therapy across diverse demographics. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, vital for building rapport with patients and collaborating with colleagues. Adherence to ethical guidelines and professional boundaries while employing sound judgment in therapeutic practices. Proficient use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and associated technological applications. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Preferred Experience Experience in a fast-paced outpatient or telehealth environment. Previous involvement with psychoeducational groups or community outreach programs. Specialization in specific therapeutic areas, such as trauma-informed care or substance use treatment. Compensation and Benefits This position offers an annual salary ranging from *$80,000 to $100,000*, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
