You will be working standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments of clients, evaluating symptoms of eating disorders, co‑occurring mental health conditions, and establishing individualized treatment needs. Design and implement tailored treatment plans that reflect your assessment findings while collaborating closely with clients to set achievable recovery goals. Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive‑Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to foster recovery. Hold engaging therapy sessions that challenge and reshape clients’ distorted beliefs surrounding body image, food, and self‑worth. Guide clients in developing effective coping strategies, enhancing their emotional regulation skills, and providing tools to counteract disordered eating behaviors. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive care, continuity of treatment, and to address the holistic needs of each client. Deliver psychoeducation sessions for clients and their families to improve understanding of eating disorders, promoting a conducive and supportive environment for recovery. Maintain precise documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions in alignment with legal and ethical regulations. Engage in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and participate in continuous professional education to enhance your skills in treating eating disorders. Patient Population / Client Focus Our client population primarily consists of individuals dealing with eating disorders, where complexities often intersect with various mental health issues. Your role will play a vital part in aiding clients as they navigate recovery, reshaping self‑perceptions, and fostering healthier lifestyles through evidence‑based practices. Qualifications A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential. Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Massachusetts is required. Proficiency in evidence‑based therapies, specifically focused on eating disorders, which includes experience in CBT, DBT, and ACT methodologies. A deep understanding of the multifaceted nature of eating disorders along with co‑occurring mental health conditions. Exceptional communication skills to foster a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients. Preferred Experience At least two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling or a related field is preferred, particularly in settings that focus on eating disorders. Experience providing telehealth services and familiarity with teletherapy platforms is beneficial.
