Remote Sales Development Representative

About the Role Our client is looking for an energetic and motivated Remote Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive new business opportunities from anywhere in South Africa . As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, generating qualified leads and setting the stage for our account executives. This role is crucial for pipeline growth and requires a proactive, communicative individual who excels in a virtual environment. You will leverage various tools and strategies to connect with prospects, understand their needs, and schedule discovery calls, working in a fully remote setup. Key Responsibilities Generate new business leads through extensive outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social media. Effectively articulate our client's value proposition to potential customers, piquing their interest in our solutions. Qualify inbound and outbound leads to ensure they meet the ideal customer profile and sales-readiness. Schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations for Account Executives. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all prospecting activities and lead interactions within the CRM. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead generation strategies and messaging. Requirements 1-2 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role, preferably in a remote setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a confident and professional phone presence. Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to manage time effectively in a remote work environment. Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools. Ability to research and understand target company needs and challenges.
