Founded in 2012, Daniel Parker State Farm is a Tulsa-based agency serving individuals, families and business owners throughout Oklahoma. Our team brings together more than 165 years of experience across insurance and financial services, with professional backgrounds that include commercial insurance, banking, residential lending, customer service and financial services.

Our work goes beyond routine policy transactions. We work with established households, professionals and business owners whose needs can become more involved as their families, assets and businesses grow. Our team conducts household insurance reviews, works with commercial insurance, life and retirement planning, ongoing account service and more complicated customer situations. Daniel has more than 25 years of insurance and financial-services experience, earned a B.S. in Biomedical Chemistry from Oral Roberts University and holds FINRA 6, 63 and 65 registrations. His agency is also a six-time State Farm President’s Club recipient.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Daniel Parker - State Farm Agent, you support both customer relationships and the day-to-day work that keeps our agency moving. You assist with account service, customer follow-up, insurance conversations and new business while developing a broader understanding of how different insurance needs fit together.

This role is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in insurance and financial services rather than simply perform a set of routine tasks. You will work alongside experienced team members, develop technical knowledge, take on increasing responsibility and learn how to recognize customer needs and follow them through to completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist new and existing customers with account questions, policy changes and other insurance needs.
• Follow up with customers and prospective customers to make sure questions and outstanding items are addressed. 
• Learn to conduct needs-based insurance conversations and recognize changes that may affect customer coverage. 
• Explain basic insurance information and next steps in clear, practical language. 
• Support new-business activity through customer follow-up, referrals and agency opportunities. 
• Maintain accurate customer information, documentation and follow-up. 
• Help identify opportunities for additional insurance conversations when customer circumstances change. 
• Coordinate with experienced team members when a customer situation requires additional knowledge or review. 
• Manage assigned tasks and priorities with accuracy and consistent follow-through. 
• Develop knowledge across personal insurance, business insurance and broader customer needs. 
• Meet individual service and production expectations while continuing to build professional skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1–3 years of insurance, banking, financial services, customer service, business development or other professional experience preferred.
• Property and casualty insurance license preferred, or willingness to obtain required licensing. 
• Life and health insurance licensing is a plus. 
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of assigned work.
• Curious and motivated to understand why something works, not just how to complete the task.
• Takes initiative and follows through without needing constant reminders. 
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills. 
• Comfortable asking questions, receiving feedback and learning from experienced team members. 
• Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. 
• Comfortable helping customers move from questions toward decisions as knowledge develops. 
• Motivated by measurable goals and professional growth. 
• Dependable, accountable and interested in taking on greater responsibility over time.
• Spanish-English bilingual skills are highly valued; proficiency in additional languages is also a plus.
