Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery and personal growth.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other mental health specialists to develop and implement comprehensive intervention plans.

• Provide follow-up consultations with medical professionals for clients who require hospitalization or specialized care, ensuring seamless continuity of care.

• Identify potential obstacles that may hinder client recovery and engage proactive strategies to mitigate these issues.

• Support families and primary caregivers by offering guidance on how to address mental and behavioral challenges, equipping them with the tools they need to assist their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range from children to adults and encompass diverse backgrounds and mental health needs. You will work closely with individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other emotional challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.
\n
• Proven experience working as a Mental Health Counselor or in a similar therapeutic role.

• Strong understanding of psychotropic medications and their effects, especially in relation to client care and treatment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients, demonstrating sensitivity and understanding.

Compensation and Benefits\n
