Billing Specialist

Overview TBG I The Bachrach Group is engaged in a search with a prominent full service Law Firm with multiple locations searching for a new member for their Billing Team, specifically an ebilling specialist, in their New Jersey office. 2+ years’ experience in a law firm/professional services billing capacity. MUST have law firm billing experience. Duties & Responsibilities Must have ebilling experience as this role will focus on the electronic billing specifically Process client bills using Pre-bill Viewer and paper bills via Aderant software, or Elite experience Electronic submissions of client invoices and accruals via various e-billing websites Researches and answers accounting and billing questions Reviews and edits pre-bills in response to attorney and assistant requests Executes, handles and processes a high volume of complex bills Reviews and verifies accuracy of billing documentation as required Assists with other special projects, ad hoc reports, and activities as needed, and performs additional duties as assigned Understanding of standard accounts payable concepts, practices, and procedures, the processes involved and related applications High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively Exceptional analytical skills Excellent communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor and presentation Qualifications & Prior Experience Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required 2+ years prior experience as a Biller MUST have law firm billing experience in ebilling Aderant software, Chrome River, Prebill Viewer, and Ebilling Hub experience helpful; collection experience a plus Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Legal Industries Law Practice and Professional Services Benefits Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Paid paternity leave Paid maternity leave Pension plan Disability insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr TBG | The Bachrach Group
