Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while still being an integral part of our supportive team. You will engage with clients primarily through teletherapy sessions, while also having the opportunity to connect with colleagues in our outpatient office in Irvine, California, to collaborate on treatment plans and share resources. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral needs through interviews and standardized evaluation tools.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize client goals and address family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including brief solution-focused therapy and harm reduction strategies, to facilitate client progress.

• Organize, prioritize, and manage a caseload effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups and continuity of care for all clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients coping with grief, loss, or acute mental health issues.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a cohesive care approach, enhancing patient outcomes and family involvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of mental health challenges. You will address issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, and other life stressors, emphasizing holistic treatment strategies that resonate with each client’s unique background and needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from an accredited institution with a thorough understanding of systemic therapy principles.

• Current State Licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or an equivalent credential to practice in California.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, fostering trust and rapport with clients and team members alike.

• A minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, exhibiting a strong foundation in therapeutic methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with experience in outpatient settings and those familiar with telehealth practices will be highly regarded. Additional training in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or family systems therapy is also desirable, as it aligns with our approach to treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
