This role will play a critical part in maintaining system integrity, configuring integrations, and supporting HR, Payroll, and Benefits operations across a complex, international professional services environment spanning 30 countries.The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in Workday, particularly in integrations, reporting, and core HCM functionality, along with a proactive mindset and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, global organization. This role will help advance the use of Generative AI and automation to improve data integrity and support processes.**Responsibilities*** Provide day-to-day technical support and configuration for the Workday HCM platform.* Design, build, test, and maintain Workday integrations, including Studio-based integrations.* Support and configure Workday Benefits, Payroll integrations, Absence Management, and related modules.* Participate in rotational support of HRIS and payroll integration mailboxes, ensuring timely issue resolution.* Troubleshoot and resolve integration errors, data issues, and system defects.* Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support business needs.* Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver system solutions.* Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across Workday processes and integrations.* Support global HRIS initiatives, system enhancements, and releases.* Document system configurations, processes, and integration designs.* Assist in testing activities including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.* Support continuous improvement efforts and identify opportunities to optimize system functionality.* Demonstrate willingness to learn and support Ceridian Payroll as part of the broader payroll ecosystem.* Identify, design, and implement Generative AI and AI agent solutions to improve HRIS operations, with a focus on automating data integrity validation between Workday and payroll systems and proactively identifying discrepancies across integrations.* Leverage AI-driven tools to analyze, triage, and automate responses within HRIS support mailbox, improving response times, reducing manual effort, and identifying recurring issues for automation.**Required Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree required.* Strong familiarity (3 to 5 years) with Workday HCM platform.* Hands-on experience with Workday Benefits, including configuration and integration support.* Experience with Workday Payroll integrations (PECI, PICOF etc.).* Experience supporting Workday Absence Management.* Proven experience with Workday integrations, including Workday Studio.* Proficiency in Workday reporting and calculated fields.* Strong knowledge of Workday’s security tools and architecture.* Experience troubleshooting integration issues and data flows.* Familiarity with or interest in applying Generative AI and automation in HRIS environments.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.* Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholder.* Technical expertise in HRIS systems and integrations.* Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.* Ability to work in a global, matrixed organization.* Customer-focused mindset with strong service orientation.* Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Familiarity with Workday Time Tracking.* Experience with additional Workday products such as Prism, Learning, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, and Talent Management.* Exposure to global HRIS environments supporting multiple countries.* Experience working within a professional services organization.* Familiarity with Ceridian Payroll systems.* Experience working with AI tools, automation platforms, or scripting for process optimization.Pay Range Guidelines for this Position:The salary range for this position is 110000 USD to 125000 USD. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience and skills. In addition to your salary, Heidrick & Struggles offers discretionary bonuses (subject to eligibility requirements) and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, disability leave, parental leave, paid time off and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
