Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate the mental and emotional well-being of clients.

• Formulate individualized treatment plans that address clients’ specific goals, needs, and presenting issues.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients across a lifespan, addressing a wide array of mental health concerns ranging from anxiety and depression to relational challenges.

• Lead couples therapy sessions focused on enhancing communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building strategies.

• Continuously assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to best support their evolving journey.

• Maintain meticulous client records, documenting therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment developments in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care approaches for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients encountering distressing situations or emergencies.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field of marriage and family therapy.

• Consistently adhere to ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with all legal regulations pertaining to therapy practice.

• Support clients in accessing additional resources and services, advocating for their rights and well-being throughout the therapeutic process.

• Promote self-care and wellness activities, both for clients and in your personal practice, to maintain resilience against burnout.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Therapists at Insightful Life will work with a diverse client base that includes adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Common concerns include but are not limited to relationship issues, interpersonal conflicts, emotional distress, and life transitions. Our approach is client-centered and emphasizes the individual experiences and cultural backgrounds of each client, ensuring culturally competent care that respects and acknowledges diversity.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.

• Valid and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Washington.

• Demonstrated experience in providing effective individual and/or couples therapy.

• Ability to conduct client assessments, write progress notes, and develop timely treatment plans.

• Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills, along with proficiency in electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working in outpatient settings, particularly in telehealth or remote service delivery.

• Experience with crisis intervention and handling emergency situations is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
