Key Responsibilities\n

The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health status, strengths, and needs of patients entering the detox program.

• Providing individualized evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists, nurses, and support staff to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans that encompass medical, therapeutic, and recovery needs.

• Assisting patients and their families in understanding diagnoses, exploring treatment options, and navigating medication regimens.

• Facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities to promote healing and recovery.

• Developing treatment plans alongside the treatment team, ensuring patient goals and preferences are central to the care process.

• Advocating for patients within the complex mental health system, ensuring they receive the support and resources necessary for their recovery.

• Leading therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, and discharge planning meetings to enhance patient understanding and engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily work with adults experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

Compensation and Benefits\n
