Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health statuses, identifying individual strengths and areas needing support.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to provide effective treatment for various mental health disorders.

• Collaborate with schools, families, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure that therapeutic interventions are integrated into each student's educational plan.

• Educate families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and the importance of adherence to medication regimens, fostering a supportive environment.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of the student population.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with fellow professionals that are aligned with the preferences and goals of both students and their families.

• Advocate for students to navigate the complex mental health care system, ensuring they have access to the resources necessary for their well-being.

• Lead therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, and discharge planning meetings to support students transitioning back into the school environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
