Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health status, strengths, and needs of patients in the detox setting.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tailored to the unique challenges faced by individuals in recovery.

• Work effectively with psychiatrists, nurses, and other professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care for patients.

• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and medication regimens to promote understanding and engagement in the recovery process.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, using evidence-informed strategies to foster resilience and recovery.

• Collaborate with the treatment team to develop comprehensive and personalized treatment plans that honor patient goals and individual preferences.

• Advocate for patients within the complex mental health system, ensuring that their rights and needs are met during their recovery journey.

• Facilitate psychoeducation sessions, therapeutic groups, and discharge planning meetings to optimize patient outcomes and support transitions in care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with adults facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Our patient population may include those experiencing crisis situations requiring immediate intervention, as well as individuals engaged in long-term recovery efforts. Your expertise will empower them to develop coping strategies, rebuild their lives, and achieve a greater quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
