PACIFIC RIVER COUNSELING, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to become an integral member of our multidisciplinary team. In this full-time hybrid position, you will deliver compassionate, evidence-based clinical care to adults, both in individual and group sessions. Work Environment\n

This role will primarily be hybrid, allowing for a blend of remote work and in-person visits at our detox center in Bellingham, Washington. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for patients and their families, examining factors such as psychological conditions, coping abilities, and substance dependencies.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions to patients experiencing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, mood disorders, and more.

• Set realistic and achievable treatment goals with clients by utilizing evidence-based psychotherapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, and group therapy.

• Monitor and modify treatment plans as necessary, interpreting patient behaviors and needs through a psychological lens to maximize therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in collaboration and consultation with fellow team members to create a cohesive treatment approach for integrated care management.

• Maintain accurate and objective clinical documentation within electronic health records, ensuring compliance with best practices for documenting patient interactions and treatment plans.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support team and patient needs effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population served by our organization includes adult patients who are experiencing substance use disorders and other behavioral health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, accompanied by completion of an internship that adheres to professional standards.

• Must possess a current and valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) credential in Washington.

• Demonstrated ability to practice psychological services in an outpatient or consultative capacity within the last 12 months.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 52,000 to 70,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
