Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client’s needs, utilizing various therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to better understand clients' struggles and develop effective treatment plans.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic treatments to a diverse set of clients, including individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care, enhancing interprofessional relationships and efforts.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions to remain informed about the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our services cater to individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, particularly those who experience barriers to accessing traditional mental health care. You will work with a diverse client population, many of whom may be dealing with issues related to trauma, family dynamics, substance misuse, depression, and anxiety. Your role will be pivotal in guiding them towards recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, evidencing the capacity to manage a diverse caseload.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with a variety of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 – 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
