Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients whether they are in inpatient or outpatient settings and create personalized treatment programs
• Deliver physical therapy interventions that target mobility, strength, and functional capabilities
• Partner with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Inform patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge arrangements, and the exercises to be continued at home
• Maintain precise documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility and regulatory policies
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure holistic patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State license as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialty certifications (for example, neurological or geriatric) are a bonus but not mandatory
