Recoverease Therapy Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapists to join our exceptional team in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Work Environment

The role is predominantly onsite, allowing you to interact closely with clients in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, restoring muscle function, and enhancing clients' overall physical performance.
• Evaluate clients' functional abilities through diagnostic assessments while tailoring treatments to individual needs.
• Oversee physical therapy assistants to ensure that treatment plans are executed correctly and effectively.
• Observe, record, and report on clients' progress and any changes in their condition, collaborating with referring physicians and case managers as required.
• Conduct home evaluations to assess the appropriateness of the environment for rehabilitation, making recommendations that foster greater independence.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, instruct clients in non-manual activities, and apply various physical agents such as traction and massage.
• Create and maintain detailed clinical documentation including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with our policy and regulations.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure cohesive care planning and evaluate total treatment effectiveness.
• Provide consultations to clients and their families, guiding them through the physical therapy process and educating them on the use of therapeutic devices.
• Ensure timely submission of orders and documentation for clinical and payroll purposes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse array of clients, ranging from post-operative patients, individuals recovering from injuries, elderly clients needing rehabilitation support, to those managing chronic conditions. Your role is pivotal in guiding these patients through their recovery process, leveraging your skills to optimize their functionality and improve their overall well-being at home.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, in good standing.
• At least one year of experience in physical therapy, preferably in home care or an acute care setting.
• Hold a current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance are required.
• A proactive and creative approach to therapy.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective engagement with patients and families.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year in physical therapy is required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in home health settings or those who bring innovative ideas and leadership qualities to the role.
