Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including initial assessments to identify client needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on each client’s psychological, emotional, and behavioral health status.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to diverse populations.

• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate holistic treatment strategies.

• Provide ongoing support and intervention for family members and primary caregivers to improve the overall mental health environment.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes throughout the therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population varies widely, encompassing individuals dealing with diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

• Solid understanding of core therapeutic principles, practices, and various evidence-based modalities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential for effective counseling.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients in various emotional states.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients facing co-occurring disorders, overlaying mental health challenges with physical health concerns or addiction issues.

• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• A deep understanding of psychopharmacology, particularly the implications of medications that clients may be prescribed.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary between $80,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, alongside a sign-on bonus to you'll find attractive.
