Work Environment

This position is onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Sanford, Florida, providing a supportive and innovative environment where team collaboration is essential. Working hours are Monday to Friday with a 40-hour weekly schedule, allowing a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and execute individualized therapy programs for patients referred by physicians.
• Administer evidence-based treatment methods, utilizing various therapeutic exercises and modalities to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide patient education about recovery and rehabilitation techniques, ensuring that patients and their families are informed and empowered throughout the treatment process.
• Actively engage in patient assessments and progress notes, documenting changes in condition while adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists and speech therapists, to enhance holistic patient care and therapeutic strategies.
• Ensure excellent customer service by fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all patients.
• Meet minimum utilization goals and assist in achieving departmental business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, pediatric cases, and sports injuries. Each patient presents a unique set of challenges, requiring tailored intervention strategies to help them achieve their personal health goals. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on empathetic patient interaction.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience treating a varied patient population, particularly in orthopedic and pediatric specialties.
• Familiarity with therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic taping, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team-oriented environment while maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction and care standards.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
