This position is primarily remote, with the flexibility to conduct sessions from the comfort of your own home. However, our outpatient office in Memphis serves as a collaborative meeting space for team consultations and training. We accommodate a flexible work schedule, operating from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, to meet the diverse needs of our clients. At our center, you will have the resources and support from a dedicated scheduling team, ensuring you can focus on delivering quality care.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at the Individual and Family Psychotherapy Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery and resilience, tailoring interventions to suit each client's unique circumstances.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and growth.

• Delivering effective individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and promote emotional healing.
\n
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure well-rounded care.

• Offering crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and supported.
\n
• Educating clients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources, thereby empowering them on their healing journey.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care.

• Staying abreast of the latest research and therapeutic best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals and families dealing with various trauma-related disorders. We serve a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and couples. Your ability to provide culturally competent care to clients with different backgrounds will be crucial in addressing their unique challenges.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LPC in the state of Tennessee.

• A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
