Work Environment

This position is located onsite in our outpatient office in Matawan, NJ, where you will engage with a diverse patient population in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced approach to professional responsibilities and personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their goals, needs, and underlying physical conditions.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, ensuring focused and personalized care with one-on-one sessions scheduled for each patient hourly.
• Develop and implement detailed care plans that address patients' rehabilitation needs and path to recovery.
• Utilize and adapt various treatment modalities, including manual therapy and exercise regimes, to cater to individual patient goals.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on effectiveness and patient feedback.
• Educate patients about their conditions and empower them with strategies to improve their overall well-being beyond therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, keeping communication lines open for the benefit of the patient.
• Promote health and wellness by focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination during treatment sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice predominantly serves clients with private medical insurance, focusing on individuals seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries. This includes post-operative patients, athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, and those experiencing chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding these patients through tailored rehabilitation plans that encourage recovery, independence, and a return to active lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Degree: An earned Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Licensing: A valid Physical Therapist License in New Jersey.
• Professional Record: An impeccable professional record, free of board or disciplinary actions.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the implementation of exercise protocols.
• Electronic Records: Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

We seek candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Ideal applicants will have a proven track record of effective patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
