Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorders, assessing the severity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that align with each client's unique goals and preferences.

• Utilize therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Educate and empower clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices.

• Monitor client progress through consistent follow-up sessions, adjusting treatment plans to reflect changing needs and responses.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and medical providers, to ensure cohesive and integrated care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation as per legal and ethical guidelines while utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and case discussions to stay updated on mood disorder research and therapeutic advancements.

• Advocate for client needs and represent their interests to reduce stigma and enhance access to mental health services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Spring Flow Center, you will primarily work with individuals suffering from mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. These clients may come from various backgrounds, including those facing homelessness, refugees, domestic abuse survivors, and others in need of mental health support. Your role will be critical in helping them navigate their challenges and work towards recovery and stability.

Qualifications\n

• A current, valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
