You'll create a welcoming experience for patients and families while helping ensure they receive the timely care and support they deserve. What You'll Do This is a hands-on role combining exceptional patient service with medical office operations and billing responsibilities. Your responsibilities will include: Welcome patients and visitors, creating a positive and compassionate first impression. Answer incoming calls and assist patients, caregivers, physicians, and referral partners with professionalism and empathy. Schedule appointments and coordinate patient visits. Verify insurance benefits and eligibility. Obtain prior authorizations and required documentation. Submit and manage medical claims while monitoring accounts receivable. Work directly with insurance companies to resolve billing questions, denials, and reimbursement issues. Maintain accurate patient records and electronic medical documentation. Assist patients with insurance and billing questions. Coordinate administrative support for our clinical team to help keep patient care running smoothly. Identify opportunities to improve office efficiency and enhance the patient experience. What We're Looking For We're searching for someone who genuinely enjoys serving others and takes pride in providing an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate will have: Experience in medical billing, insurance verification, claims processing, or healthcare office administration. Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance. Outstanding customer service and communication skills. A compassionate, patient-centered approach. Exceptional organization and attention to detail. The ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
