About Vero

AI agents now write code, touch production systems and handle sensitive data in companies everywhere, and most security teams can't see what those agents are doing. Vero gives them that visibility. It maps every agent, flags the ones that are risky, and enforces policy in real time, so companies can adopt AI without it becoming their next breach.

The role

We're looking for a BDR who wants to build something, not just run a sequence someone else wrote. You'll generate a pipeline with enterprise security leaders. You'll also help decide how Vero does outbound: who we target, what we say to them, which channels work, and what we measure. If you've ever looked at a sales playbook and thought you could do it better, this is your chance.

What you'll do

• Open conversations with enterprise security leaders. Reach out to CISOs and security leaders by email, phone, LinkedIn and anything else that gets a response.
  
• Help write the outbound playbook. Test messaging, sequences, channels and timing, then keep what works and drop what doesn't. What you learn becomes how the team operates.
  
• Help define who we target. Work with Marketing and Sales to decide which accounts and personas matter most, and what signals show a company is ready to talk about agent security.
  
• Research before you reach out. Learn what a company is doing with AI, which agents and tools it likely runs, and where its risk sits, so your first message is relevant.
  
• Qualify and hand off well. Turn inbound interest and outbound replies into meetings where the AE already has the context they need.
  
• Learn the space. Get comfortable enough with agentic AI and security to hold your own with a technical buyer.
  
• Report what you hear. Share objections, wins and market signals with Product, Marketing and leadership. You'll often be the first to hear what the market thinks.
  
• Keep the CRM clean. Help set up the processes, fields and reporting that let us scale.
  

What you bring

• 2+ years as an SDR/BDR, ideally selling security, infrastructure or developer tools into the enterprise.
  
• A record of hitting or beating pipeline targets, and the ability to explain how you did it.
  
• Strong writing. Your cold emails get replies because they're short, specific and worth reading.
  
• Comfort with ambiguity. You can work without a script, and you build structure when none exists.
  
• An experimental mindset. You run tests, track results and change course quickly.
  
• Experience with Sales and marketing CRMs, sequencing tools such as Outreach, Apollo or Clay, and intent or enrichment data.
  
• Real curiosity about AI and security.

• You've helped build or rework an outbound motion, not only run an existing one.
  
• You've used AI tools or automation to make your prospecting faster or more personal.
  
• You have a clear view on why agent security is about to become a board-level topic.
