The Veterans' Mind Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time capacity. Your workspace will be entirely virtual, allowing flexibility and the convenience of remote work while interacting with clients through telehealth platforms. The full-time schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring a balanced work-life integration. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including psychiatrists and counseling staff, who are dedicated to delivering holistic care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with the unique needs and goals of each client, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.

• Implement evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and equip them with strategies for self-care and coping mechanisms.

• Track and monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care, sharing insights and approaches to enhance client treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals and families who are facing various mental health challenges, including those recovering from trauma and navigating relationship issues such as divorce. Our clientele includes service members and veterans, providing you with the chance to understand the unique dynamics of military families and their specific needs. This focus will require you to approach therapy with empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
