Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring that all evaluations are comprehensive and tailored to individual needs.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals, preferences, and values, while utilizing evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and treatment options, offering guidance on effective self-care practices and coping strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress accurately, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork by collaborating with psychiatrists and other medical providers to offer integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients dealing with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will also provide support to vulnerable populations, such as individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, developing treatment plans that are sensitive to their unique circumstances and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
