POSITION SUMMARY

Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team in the NYC headquarters. The Junior Accountant responsibilities will include all aspects of the general ledger and month-end closing. This is a deadline-driven environment, as strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication skills are required. This location will be on a Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the New York City office located at 25 Madison Ave.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparation of all intercompany invoices Recording of monthly journal entries Provide feedback to manager on ways to enhance and streamline the invoicing process Daily monitoring of the AP clearing accounts Preparation of analysis schedules Preparation of bank reconciliations Assist with the monthly accounting close Assist with special projects which may arise Honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime. In addition to the annual base salary, this role has an annual bonus target of 5%. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
