Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy strategies tailored to clients’ specific needs, conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a diverse client base, including groups, families, couples, and individuals facing various mental health issues.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy, adapting approaches based on client feedback and progress.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the holistic needs of clients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, complying with legal and ethical standards while safeguarding client confidentiality.

• Participate actively in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training, to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve serving individuals and families from various cultural backgrounds who have limited access to mental health care. This includes addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflicts, and substance abuse. By providing personalized care, you contribute significantly to improving the mental health landscape in Federal Way and nearby communities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of experience in the counseling field, ideally within a clinical setting, is necessary.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in counseling practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with a wide range of clients and colleagues.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, dependent on experience and caseload availability.
