Key responsibilities include working with Fixed Income management on strategy and business development, financial resource management, and developing and monitoring divisional performance metrics.Responsibilities:Strategy & Business DevelopmentContribute to identification of strategic growth opportunities and develop execution plansPrepare compelling analysis and presentations to support management discussion of Fixed Income’s strategy and new business initiativesAssist with performance deep dives into areas of management focus, and provide insight into potential value-add actionsWork with Fixed Income management and Finance partners to develop the annual financial budget and periodic forecastsPrepare competitor analysis and identify areas of opportunity for Fixed IncomeContribute to ad hoc work supporting new product development, including elements of project managementFinancial Resource ManagementMonitor Fixed Income’s balance sheet and capital usage; develop analytics to drive optimization of resource utilizationPartner with Finance, Risk, and Business areas to conduct deep dive reviews of capital and balance sheet topicsDevelop a commercial understanding of key capital and balance sheet methodologies and optimization strategiesPerformance Analytics & Other ResponsibilitiesContribute to regular reporting of Fixed Income KPI’s; identify potential enhancements and recommend changes to managementPrepare analysis and insights on business performance for senior managementEngage Finance to ensure accurate reporting of divisional financialsProvide dynamic support for the broader Fixed Income COO area as requiredRequirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in the financial industry; experience in investment banking market’s area strongly preferredExperience in a business management, strategy, or a financial analysis roleStrong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge required, including ability to create compelling presentations for senior managementExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret a wide range of financial informationAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, including capacity to multi-task while maintaining a focus on timely deliveringAbility to work proactively and independentlyKeen attention to detail and ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.The expected base salary ranges from $100,000- $150,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
