Security Officer Customer Service Driver Patrol – Milpitas, CA Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, production areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help verify that entry and visitor processing follow site-specific protocols, reporting concerns and/or irregularities according to post orders. Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with routine inquiries, and completing required logs, reports, and other security-related documentation. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
