Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms, creating a solid foundation for effective treatment.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and preferences, employing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to promote overall mental well-being.

• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in their condition and ensure optimal outcomes.

• Proactively engage with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to coordinate care and support a holistic treatment approach for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to continually enhance therapeutic effectiveness and client outcomes.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that client records are accurate and reflect the therapeutic process.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to foster ongoing learning and growth.

• Advocate for clients within the healthcare system, addressing issues related to mental health stigma and ensuring their needs are met effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. This role involves providing care to a diverse population, including underserved groups such as individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in helping these clients navigate complex emotional landscapes while fostering resilience and hope.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
