Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including reviewing pertinent medical histories, performing clinical assessments, and formulating a precise plan of care tailored to each patient's needs.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols, addressing the specific conditions and presenting issues of patients while adapting to the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Regularly consult with other healthcare professionals to align on treatment plans and document any changes in patient conditions that necessitate modifications in care.
• Engage in thorough discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure a seamless transition for patients as they return to their daily activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries that quantitatively assess patient outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous education initiatives to stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy techniques and ensure compliance with all legal regulations.
• Foster a respectful communication environment with all stakeholders, including patients, families, and insurance payors, to advocate for optimal patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Snapback Wellness & Rehabilitation, you will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will be essential in guiding these patients through their rehabilitation journeys, focusing on pain management, mobility improvement, and restoration of functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Active physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is essential. Candidates with a track record of implementing specialized treatment plans and demonstrating proficiency in assessment techniques will be highly favored.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
