Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Oncology - Hawaii

Territory: Hawaii Position Summary Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) – Oncology. Field-based role (100% time in the field with external customers) to drive demand for BMS medicines for appropriate patients through differentiated scientific customer experience. Key Responsibilities Promote approved indications within a territory/region to meet/exceed sales targets compliantly. Create demand by communicating balanced clinical/scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients. Build and maintain high scientific expertise across assigned products/therapeutic areas. Develop and implement comprehensive territory and account plans. Use CE3 (when implemented) to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback for continuous improvement. Present approved scientific information consistent with label; ensure medical accuracy. Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch & learns) and maintain expertise on emerging data. Organize external speaker programs (Speakers Bureau approved lists) including scheduling/logistics. Engage real-time medical support via Medical on Call for unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries. Collaborate cross-functionally to improve HCP customer experience; share insights internally. Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies. Required Qualifications Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse. Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately. Credibility-building experience with customers/office staff for differentiated customer experience. Hematology/Oncology experience required. Account management, selling, and proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals. Cross-functional effectiveness and positive can-do attitude.
