This position offers flexibility as a remote role, allowing you to connect with students and their families from the comfort of your own home. While remote, you may occasionally visit local schools to conduct in-person sessions and support team initiatives.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to determine the mental health needs, strengths, and challenges faced by students and their families.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique needs of children and adolescents.

• Collaborate closely with a team of psychiatrists, nurses, educational professionals, and mental health specialists to ensure holistic care and effective treatment planning.

• Educate students and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management in a compassionate and understandable manner.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions while employing strategies that strengthen communication and emotional resilience.

• Draft and execute personalized treatment plans that align with each student’s goals, preferences, and academic requirements, ensuring active participation from both students and parents.

• Facilitate and lead psychoeducation and therapeutic groups designed to address common challenges faced by students, fostering peer support and collaboration.

• Assist students in navigating the mental health system, acting as an advocate for their rights and needs to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss cases and progress, ensuring clear communication and comprehensive care.

• Engage in discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure a smooth transition for students returning to the school environment after treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
