Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your clinical expertise to perform independent psychosocial evaluations and formulate accurate diagnoses for students facing mental health challenges.

• Collaboratively engage with students to create individualized, patient-centered treatment plans that outline realistic goals and effective therapeutic interventions.

• Employ evidence-based treatment modalities such as solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving therapy, tailoring techniques to meet the needs of each student.

• Coordinate a comprehensive approach to student care by working closely with school psychologists, educators, and health providers to ensure that all aspects of a student's well-being are addressed.

• Regularly monitor and assess treatment outcomes, adjusting approaches as necessary, and ensuring progress toward established objectives.

• Facilitate support for students and their families regarding medication management, ensuring adherence and addressing any concerns related to medication effects or efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on children and adolescents within a school setting who are experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties. You will be working with a diverse population that includes students dealing with anxiety, depression, learning difficulties, and other mental health disorders. Your empathetic approach will be essential in building trust and rapport with this vulnerable demographic.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of one year of experience in a therapeutic setting as an independently licensed professional.

While one year of experience is the minimum requirement, preference will be given to candidates with experience working within school systems or with pediatric populations. Compensation and Benefits\n
