Work Environment\n

This position will be conducted remotely, allowing flexibility while ensuring that you remain highly engaged with the school community. You will be responsible for working closely with school staff and parents to coordinate care and provide counseling services. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services to assigned clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for those experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.

• Engage with students, educators, and families to coordinate integrated care and facilitate access to necessary support services.

• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings and assessments tailored to individual student needs.

• Create and implement personalized care plans that address clients' mental health challenges and align with their goals.

• Monitor patient progress through regular check-ins and adjustments to treatment plans as needed, ensuring clients benefit from timely interventions.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance service delivery and improve overall outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students at various education levels within the school system. You will provide services to individuals who may face challenges related to anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, trauma, and familial issues. Given the diverse backgrounds of the students, cultural competence and sensitivity are essential in establishing trust and rapport.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical or educational setting.
