Work Environment\n

This is a full-time remote position that allows for flexible scheduling to accommodate consultations with students and collaboration with school staff. You will work from home while remaining actively engaged with the school environment, utilizing telehealth tools to connect with students and their families. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to support students in managing mental health challenges.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, behavioral, and social issues affecting student well-being.

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at fostering academic and personal growth.

• Maintain meticulous client records, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with confidentiality regulations.

• Offer crisis intervention tactics when students encounter acute mental health difficulties, ensuring prompt and effective support.

• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and confer best practices in school-based mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, social skills deficits, and trauma. You will be instrumental in helping students develop coping strategies and resilience, which will not only enhance their academic performance but also their overall quality of life. A focus on trauma-informed care will guide your approach to understanding and addressing the context of each student’s experience.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Washington is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related discipline from an accredited institution is also a prerequisite.

Compensation and Benefits\n
