Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial and ongoing psychosocial assessments of students through interviews, detailed observations, and meticulous reviews of their medical records to understand the emotional, social, and environmental factors influencing their recovery.

• Provide empathetic counseling and support to students and their families to navigate adjustment issues, focusing on emotional well-being and coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to design and implement individualized treatment plans that holistically address the psychosocial needs of students.

• Identify and assist students in accessing essential community resources, such as support groups, vocational rehabilitation services, or housing assistance tailored to their unique situations.

• Educate and guide students and their families about available community resources and post-rehabilitation services, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and empowered.

• Participate actively in discharge planning, facilitating smooth transitions for students back to their home environment or other care settings.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
