Position Overview

Back Bay Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team at our Edison, New Jersey location. Work Environment

You will be working in a vibrant Rehabilitation Center located in Edison, New Jersey. This facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology and resources that support our mission to provide superior care. The onsite environment fosters collaboration amongst a diverse team, enabling us to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to each patient's unique needs. Your work schedule will typically be Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to identify their physical therapy needs and establish individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific rehabilitation goals.
• Implement and supervise tailored treatment strategies, continuously monitoring progress, and modifying plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care, including SOAP notes, treatment progress, and care plans using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Provide education and ongoing support to patients and their families about the recovery process, emphasizing realistic expectations and strategies to manage challenges.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists, to coordinate care for patients receiving multiple services and ensure comprehensive treatment.
• Actively contribute to our organizational goals and objectives, including meeting minimum utilization metrics and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will span a broad demographic, treating patients of varying ages, backgrounds, and diagnoses. Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program is mandatory.
• Current and unrestricted state licensure as a physical therapist.
• Strong willingness to conduct evaluations and deliver treatments both in-person and via telehealth options as clinically appropriate.

Compensation and Benefits
