While you will primarily operate from home, our outpatient office in Santa Ana serves as a hub for client appointments and in-person sessions when required. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Behavioral Brightside, you will:

• Maintain a manageable caseload of clients, fostering positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess progress and stability, discussing treatment outcomes and planning discharges when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans that cater to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Document client interactions meticulously, maintaining accurate and up-to-date progress notes.
\n
• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate new clients and integrate them into appropriate treatment pathways.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions each week, utilizing evidence-based practices to support client growth and recovery.

• Engage in individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and receive constructive feedback.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure holistic care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is acceptable with relevant experience.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• Ability to fulfill the requirements for internal credentialing within relevant clinical environments.

• A minimum of one year’s experience in a mental health setting working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations is preferred.

• Experience with assessment, diagnosis, and both individual and group therapy.
\n
• Proficient in using computer systems for documentation and billing; basic keyboarding skills are essential.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
