Labor and Delivery Nurse

Schedule

Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks; guaranteed hours per week: 36.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Ability to provide care during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
• Ability to manage emergency situations and assist in C-sections.
• Ability to supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Assess patient needs and develop nursing care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and overall health of mothers and newborns.
• Engage in effective communication with the healthcare team and families.
• Ensure adherence to safety and care standards.
