Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while you engage with patients in a supportive community health clinic setting. Our team includes licensed practitioners from diverse experiences, creating an atmosphere rich in collaborative learning and culturally informed practices. As part of our commitment to a healthy work-life balance, we have set our business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a degree of flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify each patient's unique experiences and establish personalized treatment plans for effective mental health outcomes.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the clients’ cultural and individual contexts.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health concerns, and enhancing overall well-being and resilience among clients.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication regarding patient progress.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing skills to de-escalate situations and ensure client safety.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment modalities, and local community resources tailored to their needs.
\n
• Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential documentation of patient information in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Actively participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions centered around cultural competency and best practices in mental health care.

• Stay updated with current research, trends, and evidence-based practices in mental health therapy to continually enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work specifically with clients from immigrant communities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and others facing particular mental health challenges that require culturally tailored approaches. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW within the state of California.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies, particularly as they pertain to culturally competent therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
