Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand clients' needs and employ evidence-based practices to develop tailored treatment plans. Your clinical acumen will be key in guiding clients through their mental health journey. \n Implement diverse therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), effectively adapting these methodologies to fit individual client needs. \n Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA requirements. Your attention to detail will safeguard client privacy and uphold ethical standards. \n Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to ensure clients receive comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of their well-being. \n Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings to facilitate continuous improvement in therapeutic practices, sharing insights and gaining knowledge from peers. \n Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them with the tools and resources necessary for resilience and recovery. \n Stay informed about the latest research in mental health to enhance therapeutic practices and ensure the application of the most current and effective treatment approaches. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your focus will be on a diverse clientele that spans various demographics and cultural backgrounds. You will be working with individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, and family-related issues. Providing culturally sensitive care will be essential to effectively meet the unique needs of each client. Qualifications\n \n A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York. \n Strong proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy methods, demonstrating your ability to customize treatment approaches based on individual client circumstances. \n Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong therapeutic rapport and trust with clients. \n Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills, enabling you to devise effective strategies to help clients navigate their challenges. \n A collaborative nature, thriving in a team-oriented environment, and valuing peer input and diversity of thought. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Previous experience providing telehealth services is a plus, particularly in a clinical or counseling setting. \n Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic techniques and frameworks, demonstrating versatility in treating different client needs. \n Desire and motivation to engage in continuous learning and professional development through workshops and seminars in mental health. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
