Pay: $23$26/hour, based on experience
About the Role
Were seeking an Accounting Assistant to join a fast-paced entertainment company in Century City. This is a great contract-to-hire opportunity for someone looking to build their accounting career while gaining exposure in the entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, batch, and upload incoming payments and assign to appropriate accounts.
- Prepare and distribute checks, wires, and remittances.
- Assist with reconciliations, payment tracking, and vendor/client inquiries.
- Handle distribution of tax documents and other financial statements.
- Support onboarding of new clients, managers, and staff into the accounting system.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team and escalate issues when necessary.
- Contribute to process improvement and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred; some finance/accounting experience is a plus.
- Entertainment industry exposure is highly valued.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to maintain confidentiality.
