Job Description

• Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and develop individualized therapy strategies that help them achieve their personal goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with other healthcare professionals including OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses for holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapeutic methods to support ongoing improvements at home
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make treatment adjustments to ensure continuous patient progress

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement and support for continuing education or additional certifications

Certifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
• Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) required
