Work Environment

This full-time position is designed for onsite work within our home care facility, allowing our therapists to provide care in the familiar surroundings of patients' homes. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver effective physical therapy services using various techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation equipment to help alleviate pain and restore mobility.
• Document treatment plans, patient responses, and progress meticulously in accordance with organizational standards.
• Regularly assess and update therapeutic goals based on patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on the therapy process, assistive devices, and strategies for enhancing self-care and mobility.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide seamless communication regarding patient care and progress.
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices in physical therapy by participating in workshops, reviewing literature, and engaging with professional associations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or those with chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist, you will build meaningful relationships with patients of all ages, ensuring they feel supported throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of New Jersey.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on patient education and family involvement.
• Proficiency in technology for documentation and patient records management.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to pivot based on patient needs and treatment responses.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical or home care setting preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply as mentorship opportunities are available.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a robust benefits package that includes:
