Work Environment

This role is based in our outpatient care setting, with a primary focus on home care services. Working in our facility, you will collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive rehabilitation experience for our patients. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized physical therapy to patients, tailoring treatment plans that address their unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a manageable patient load that allows you to dedicate adequate time for one-on-one engagement and personalized care.
• Apply your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to formulate effective assessment strategies and treatment plans.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions that focus on restoring mobility and improving overall physical function.
• Advocate for non-surgical treatment options, reducing reliance on medications, and focusing on wellness-oriented solutions.
• Create comprehensive care plans incorporating diverse treatment modalities, adjusted according to the patient's progress and feedback.
• Design and lead fitness and wellness programs that cater specifically to each patient's lifestyle and rehabilitation requirements.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance the effectiveness and personalization of patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, celebrating milestones along the way.
• Enhance patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination as part of holistic treatment strategies.
• Coordinate effectively with healthcare team members to provide the best patient outcomes.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations of treatment effectiveness and document patient progress meticulously.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population ranges from adolescents to seniors, encompassing various musculoskeletal issues, sports injuries, and postoperative rehabilitation. Your work will directly impact each patient's recovery journey, focusing on restoring physical function and enhancing their overall health and well-being.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of an active and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no history of sanctions or disciplinary proceedings.
• Diverse proficiency in multiple manual therapy techniques and treatment modalities.
• Expertise in creating and implementing exercise programs grounded in evidence-based research.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with preference for Web PT or similar documentation software.
• Strong commitment to remaining current with advancing physical therapy techniques and research methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient clinic setting, preferably in home care.
• Solid background in sports medicine or rehabilitation for sports-related injuries.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Proven record of improving patient outcomes through personalized treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
