Work Environment

Our Woodbridge clinic offers a welcoming and modern workspace designed to facilitate effective treatment. As an onsite practitioner, you will interact daily with patients in a state-of-the-art facility focused exclusively on outpatient care. With a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, this role allows you to develop meaningful professional relationships with patients while also maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care to a diverse patient population, tailoring your approach to address their specific physical therapy goals and needs.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure adequate time and attention for each patient, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop effective treatment plans that incorporate a variety of evidence-based techniques.
• Emphasize non-surgical and cost-effective treatment options, focusing on improving patients' mobility without reliance on pain medications.
• Create and implement comprehensive fitness and wellness programs, enhancing patient engagement and compliance through motivating strategies.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and progress assessments to chart patient improvements, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to coordinate holistic patient care and address any additional health concerns.
• Document patient progress using EMR systems, particularly Web PT, to maintain accurate medical records and ensure continuity of care.

Our patients often present with orthopedic issues, requiring tailored interventions to restore motion, strengthen function, and improve overall physical health. Your skills in motivational interviewing and patient education will play a key role in guiding clients on their journey to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with a clean record free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and the creation of successful exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for effective patient documentation.
• Current knowledge of physical therapy practices supported by the latest research and clinical guidelines.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting with a focus on orthopedic care.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a track record of successful patient outcomes and high patient satisfaction ratings.
• Experience working with a range of EMR systems, beyond just documentation, to optimize patient care workflows.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
