Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you the flexibility to work from home while still being an integral part of a school-based team dedicated to addressing student mental health needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers to report on patient progress and any emerging needs or concerns.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation, including clinical records and progress notes, adhering to our departmental policies and standards.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare team members, ensuring they reflect the psychosocial assessments and accepted interventions in social work.

• Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students, conducting thorough assessments and creating tailored treatment approaches for emotional and behavioral issues.

• Consult with family members and support systems regarding treatment plans, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with students ranging from elementary to high school age, addressing diverse mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and behavioral issues. Your therapeutic approach will be vital in helping these young individuals develop coping strategies, improve social skills, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient or school-based setting is essential for this position.

• Proficiency in using computer applications, including MS Office, electronic medical records systems, and email communication.

• Demonstrable ability to work independently, showcasing strong organizational skills and self-motivation.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
