Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of school-aged children and adolescents struggling with mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ mental health status, including emotional, behavioral, and social functioning, using standardized tools and clinical judgment.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, ensuring approaches are culturally competent and responsive to the diverse backgrounds of students.

• Engage in collaborative care with other healthcare and educational professionals, fostering a team-based approach to support student well-being and academic success.

• Monitor student progress through regular follow-up sessions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes and feedback from students, parents, and educators.

• Provide psychoeducation to students and their families, equipping them with resources and coping strategies to manage mental health issues effectively.

• Maintain compliance with ethical standards, adhering to confidentiality requirements, and properly documenting all interactions using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is to support students within a school environment, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. You will work directly with children and adolescents ranging from elementary to high school age, each with unique needs and circumstances. Providing culturally relevant and sensitive support, the LICSW will play a crucial role in assisting students to overcome barriers to learning and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
